An intensive 10–15 minutes of exercise a day can be of immense health benefits as it slows down the ageing process. There are many types of exercises that you can choose from. Here are a few examples:

1. Walking

2. Jogging

3. Swimming

4. Push ups

5. Squats—using heavy weights and lowering repetitions per set as you count

6. Side planks

Choose the one that is convenient for you, but endeavour to combine endurance, strength, balance, and flexibility in your workouts.

I typically choose to have my daily brisk walks (except Sundays) for a minimum of 45 minutes, along with a few floor exercises, planks, and some stretches. Walking helps to get oxygen to circulate around your body as you take in a lot of air and exhale freely, which helps to free your mind of any heaviness so that you are relaxed as a result. I must say that exercising can also give you quality sleep.
